Start here if you've never studied Spanish before or if you've taken a decade off and need a refresher.
You'll learn the necessary foundation for fluency, such as introducing yourself, describing your likes and dislikes, and talking about your friends and hobbies.
With a small group (averaging six students per class and capped at ten), you'll have an opportunity to engage in conversational Spanish with other language learners with realtime feedback from the instructor.
By the end of our level one course, you’ll have the foundation to conjugate verbs in the present tense and be able to hold basic conversations, order food when dining out, or go shopping in Spanish.
A native Peruvian, Christine holds a Bachelor's degree in Language Teaching at the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo and has 14 years of experience teaching English and Spanish to people of different ages. She likes to make her lessons enjoyable by introducing different activities. Christine enjoys photography, hiking, dancing and walking with her husband by the lake. She loves helping people accomplish their goals – that's what motivates her most when teaching.

We know our students and teachers probably have holiday plans, so we don't hold classes on Federal holidays.
If you feel your level isn't the right fit, reach out to [email protected] before your second class and we will transfer you to a better fit, free of charge!
Our online group classes meet for a total of 20 hours of live instruction. We have weekly classes (2 hours once a week for 10 sessions) and biweekly classes (1 hour twice a week for a total of 20 sessions).
Plans change - we get it. You have until 7 days before the start date of your group course to make any cancelations or transfers. After that, we unfortunately cannot offer any refunds.
Only students 18 years or older can participate in this course. If you are looking for options for students under 18, please check out our Kids and Teens page!
As long as the group course has not been cancelled or it has spots left, there is no deadline to sign up. However, we strongly encourage you to sign up at least two weeks in advance in order to secure your spot!
